He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Hofland and Bertha Hofland (Skarnagel); his daughter Leah Williams; and his grandson Josh Hofland. He is survived by: his stepson Dan Monson of Claire City; his wife Mary Tenold; his sons, Wade Hofland of Sisseton, Robert Hofland of Sisseton and Lance Hofland of Fairmount, ND; his grandchildren, Maria, Diamond, Kelsey Mae, Megan, Kendra and Kendrick; his stepchildren, Richard Tenold (Susie) of Wesley Chapel, FL and Rochel Schettl (Matt) of Pine Island, MN; and his stepgranddaughters, Samantha and Halie Schettl.
