He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Bergeson and Ellen Bergeson (Pederson); his in-laws, Leonard and Marcella Schlekewy; and his brother-in-law Roger Buhl.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Schlekewy of Lake City; his children, Mindy Jo Coffman (Ray) of Linton, ND and Travis Bergeson (Cheryl) of Lake City; his grandsons, Isaac and Lucas Bergeson; and his siblings, Craig Bergeson of Sisseton, SD, Neil Bergeson (Darla) of Sisseton, Faith Schoeberl (Bob) of Lake City and Allen Bergeson. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews.
