She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Hoss and Hilma Hoss (Hanson); her husband Claude Carl; her son-in-law Mike Bilben; her great grandchild Tylor Gough Kostrzewski; her siblings, Norman, Delano, Milvern, Odean Hoss, Marcella Hoss, Delores Brodal and Arlene Blackwelder; her parents-in-law, Leonard and Margaret Carl; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Hoss, Margie Hoss, Marilyn Hoss, Darlene Olson, Esther Carl, Betty Gail Carl, Beverly Carl, Sandy Rae Carl, Grenville Miller, Robert Blackwelder, Douglas Carl, Don Carl, Gordon Olson and Terry Nerison.
She is survived by: her children, Claudette Biel (Dennis) of New Effington, Sharri Rosendahl (Roger) of Pipestone, MN, Denise Bilben of Kimball, SD, Richard Carl (Terri) of Billings, MT and Troy Carl (Kris) of Portland, ND; her sister Lorraine Miller of Wahpeton, ND; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Carl, Karen Nerison of Watertown, SD and Wayne Carl of Waconia, MN. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
