He is survived by: his brother Jeff E. Johnson; and his nieces, Kimberley M. Sukstorf and Shirley R. Johnson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

“Our paths crossed through friends Wally and Carol Fisk & Shelby McDill . You were always affectionately known as 'driveway Dan". While visiting with Wally and Carol we spent many hours discussing mutual interests: playing guitar, high-tech calculators, ballistics, firearms, astronomy, fishing, sailing, camping, flying, and more. We shared meals at Horse Creek Restaurant and an occasional Scotch at your home bar. Wish we had another chance to play that beautiful Taylor guitar. Duke Fuehrer”
