It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn L. Daum of Murdo, South Dakota, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herrick C. Smith and Ruth Smith (Moore); and her husband Edward N. Daum. She is survived by: her children, Elaine (Harlin Vermeer) of Citrus Hills, Gladys (Sam Heikes) of Vermillion, Darrell (Pam) of Murdo and Kenneth (Jane) of Murdo; her grandchildren, Julie Beaven (Herb), Brent Vermeer (Stephanie), Heath Daum (Janelle), Cherry Carlson (Dave), Ashley Rigge (Matthew), Heidi Heikes, Andy Daum (Maggie) and Josh Daum; her stepgrandchildren, Eirik Heikes (LeAnne) and Sunni Knapton (John); and her sister Marian Mills (Dwight) of Woodbine, Iowa.. She is also survived by 3 brothers in-law and 4 sisters in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
