He was predeceased by: his son James; and his parents, Joe and Laura. He is survived by: his wife Helen Rossman; and his children, John (Sharon) of Fargo, ND, Daniel (Tabitha) of Mt. Vernon, Bruce (Kathy) of Garretson, Katheryn Runia (Cal) of Sioux Falls, Carol Hoogestraat (Cal) of Hawarden, IA and Barbara Boyer (Travis) of Brookings. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
