Eugene Fristad Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Fristad (Mount Vernon, South Dakota), born in Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on December 27, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Fristad and Lelia Fristad (Strand); his parents-in-law, Marion and Leona Hall; and his siblings, Vincent, Verlon Fristad, Joyce Peterson (Harold) and Dorothy Lane (Kenneth).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Fristad; his children, Pamela Fristad (Frank Wells) and Monte Fristad (Heather); his grandsons, Matthew Fristad, Sutton Fristad and Austin Rearick; his siblings, Ilene Carpenter (Verne) of Colorado Springs, CO, David Fristad (Nancy) of Vivian, SD and Kalen Fristad (Darlene); and his siblings-in-law, Elva Engelhart (Dennis) of Puyallup, WA and Dennis Hall (Mag) of Lake Stevens, WA.. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials will go to the Storla Lutheran Church or Trinity Cemetery Association.
