Patricia Waechter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Waechter of Montrose, South Dakota, who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Kuyper and Margaret Kuyper (Donelan); her husband James Waechter; her grandchildren, Justin and Will Sanders; and her siblings, Donnadell Wright, John "Jack" and James Kuyper.
She is survived by: her children, Susanne Sanders (Roger) of Gilbert, AZ, Mark Waechter of Denver, CO and Brad Waechter (Tasha) of Mobridge, SD; and her sister JoAn Morrison. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (211 Church Ave, Montrose, SD 57048). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (211 Church Ave, Montrose, SD 57048). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (211 Church Ave, Montrose, SD 57048).
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to a charity of Pat's choice.
