He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Rieck and Dorothy Rieck (Finch); his siblings, Mike Rieck and Colleen Gering; his uncle Richard Rieck; and his brother-in-law Bernard Donelan.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Rasmussen; his daughters, Kendra Huls (Eric) and Karen Hanisch (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brent Hanisch, Lane, Zaidee Huls, Kiersten Hanisch (Nate Smith) and An Phan; his great grandchild Ryker Huls; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Rieck, Mary Jane Donelan and Judy Sesker (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
