He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust Erickson and JoHannah Erickson (Matson); his great grandchild Mara Struck; his son-in-law Dan Thelen; his siblings, Martin, Harry, Delbert, Elsie Dirks and Theresa "Viola" Braaten; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Erickson, Phyllis Gilman, Dorothea Meister, Lucille Erickson, Oliver Dirks, Eldon Sykes, Leo Heppler and Gerald Meister.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Linda Thelen of Huron, SD, Dave of Salem, SD, Dan (Deb) of Harrisburg, SD, Bob (Denise) of Montrose, SD and Jeff (Rhonda) of Wentworth, SD; his grandchildren, Mark (Jenni), Mike (Jinny), Matt Struck (Jen), Shaun Thelen (Cassie), Julie Watson (Ryan), Ashley Coomes (Dan), Clint (Stacy), Brian Erickson (Sami), Jenny McGrath (Bob), Megan Lanpher (Marc), Joseph, Hannah Erickson, Kelsey Murphy (Evan) and Kyle Erickson; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Manny, Sienna, Abe Struck, Max, Zach, Kate Struck, Sam, Ella Struck, Grey, Gunner, Gypsie Thelen, Emily, Aiden Watson, Adelyn, Aubrey Coomes, Gwen, Bailey Erickson, Alexis, Madalyn, Kylinn McGrath, Emma, Bella Lanpher, Charlotte and Kynleigh Murphy; his great great grandchild Collins Struck; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Erickson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
