He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Hoogshagen and Effie Hoogshagen (Frankie); his son Larry Hoogshagen; and his siblings, Audrey Hoogshagen, Erma DeWilde, Searle, Harvey, Ellsworth and Rolland Hoogshagen.
He is survived by: his children, Curt Hoogshagen of Bella Vista, AR, Martin Hoogshagen (Julie) of Monroe, SD, Jeff Hoogshagen (Marlys) of Springer, NM, Gail Kellogg (Jeff) of Bella Vista and Todd Hoogshagen of Monroe, SD; his grandchildren, Erin Hoogshagen, Eric Hoogshagen, Evan Hoogshagen, Marissa Ganci, Heath Hoogshagen, Natalie Oslund, Cody Hoogshagen, Jessica Prentice, Kristen Hoogshagen and MacKenzie Hoogshagen; his daughter-in-law Rose Hoogshagen; and his sister Joan Hoogshagen. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
