George Griebel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2020, at the age of 83, George Griebel of Monroe, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Griebel and Jessie Griebel (Dreyer); and his siblings-in-law, Eugene Hermanson and Jeanne Mammenga To. He is survived by: his wife Margret Mammenga; his children, Gregory (Angela), Brian (Becky), Monica and Nordell (Jennifer); his grandsons, Tyler Miller, Ethan Olsen, Tate, Alec Griebel, Gage, Tark and Brogan Griebel; his stepgrandchildren, Jacob, Simon, Christopher Wuertz, Whitney Clarke (Steve), Lexie Weier and Kyle Weier; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kendall and Bennett Clarke; his brother Norbert Griebel (Jan); his sisters-in-law, Mary Dorsman (Don), Doris Carlson (Duane), Norma Hermanson and Nancy Unruh; and also, Jerry Mammenga (Karen), Terry Mammenga (Sandie) and Jeff Mammenga (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, the family request that guests wear a mask and practice social distancing at both opportunities to celebrate George's life.
