He was predeceased by: his mother Audrey Black Hoop; his grandparents, Sam Fast Horse Sr., Cecelia Martin, Pearl Tatoo, Gramps Steve Silk Sr. and Ant Delphine Plenty Chief; his aunts and uncles, Mary Ireland, Evangeline Fast Horse, Fred, Fenton Fast Horse, Mike Ireland and Duane Martin; his brothers, Shane Cotton Wood, Sonny Boy Black Hoop, James "Moogie" Silk and Mitchell Silk; and his adoptive parents, Wallace Thunder Hawk, Annie "Toots" Thunder Hawk and Lavonne Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Devin and Brashel Silk; his adoptive mother Blanche Lawrence; and his siblings, Samuel B. Silk Sr., Henry "Hank" Silk, Larry Brownotter, Lisa Black Hoop, Danielle Maxon, Miranda Silk, Pearl Wallace and Angel Silk.
