He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmuth Martel and Erna Martel (Rieger); his pet Chewy; and his siblings, Herb Martel, Darlene Gay and Betty Fischer.
He is survived by: his children, Judy, Ron Jr. (Tut), Sam, Merri (Bear) and Tut; his grandchildren, Cindy, Collin, Kathan, RayAnn, Kaelyn, Samara and Theresa; his great grandchildren, Liam and Laisha; his siblings, John, Robert Martel and Faye Rookey (Leo); and his sisters-in-law, Margie Hawk and Lila Martel.
Ron battled many underlying health issues and late stages of Alzheimer's. However, he never forgot his true love, Donna, and always wanted to be with his family.
