He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Stewart and Clara Stewart (Seeley); his wife BennaBee Elaine Rawstern; his sister Beverly Baade (Lyle); his stepfather Carl Wininger; his son-in-law Terry Dame; his parents-in-law, Irwin and Clara Rawstern; and his brothers, Wayne Rawstern (Mary) and Leo Rawstern (JoAnne).
He is survived by: his children, Cenera Davis (Bob) of Custer, SD, Robert Stewart (Lisa) of Moorcroft, WY, Patti Stewart Dame of Mobridge, SD, Judy Swedeen (Kendall) of Pierre, SD and Tod Stewart (Kimberly) of Hermosa, SD; and his brother-in-law Eldon Rawstern of Miller, SD. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and nine step great grandchildren; in addition to many nieces and nephews.
