He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shadduck and Madeline Shadduck (Springer); his grandsons, Matthew Shadduck and Jamie Saylor; and his sister Joan (Bob Hintz).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Huber; his children, Julie and Jeff Shadduck (Andrea) of Mobridge; his grandchildren, Amanda Johnson (Cody) of Mobridge, Bryce Raba of Mobridge, Nicholas Shadduck of Mobridge and Isaiah Shadduck (Aurianna Stickland) of Aberdeen; his stepgrandchildren, Danielle Gusman (Brad Iron) of Mobridge and Mackenzie Thomas (Aaron Hanley) of Bismarck; his great grandchildren, Emma, Eli Johnson, Cooper Shadduck, Preston, Paislee Hettich, Rylee, Payton and Ashton Hanley; his siblings, Barb Hill, Wesley Schaefer (Melinda), Gail Brooks (Jerry), Nick Schaefer (Monica) and Karen Nelson; his brother-in-law Dennis Huber (Ione); his in-laws, Ed and Alvina Huber; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Nelson, Ralph Hill and Glenda (Chet Salzer).
A prayer was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Kesling Funeral Home (1201 W Grand Crossing, Mobridge, SD 57601). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (918 1st Ave E, Mobridge, SD 57601). Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM.
