He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Hulm and Cecelia Hulm (Wolff); his grandson Justin Hulm; his brothers, Victor and James; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Hazel, Al Reiss, Bob Schumacher and Alice Hulm.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Reiss; his children, Anthony Hulm (Monica) of Windom, MN, Linda Hulm of Trail City and Steve Hulm of Trail City; his grandchildren, Tyler Hulm (Amanda) of Kasson, MN, Kevin Hulm of Trail City, McKenzie Werlinger (Steve) of Zeeland, ND and Miranda Hulm of Trail City; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Barrett and Leighton; his sisters, Theresa Hazel of Mobridge and Mary Majorowicz of Stillwater, MN; his siblings-in-law, Leo Reiss (Molly), Ray Reiss (Pam), Bernita Schumacher and Mary Reiss; and his close friend Herman.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Walworth County Care Center in Selby.
