He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hochhalter and Lydia Hochhalter (Eisenbeis); his grandchildren, Cindy Christy, Denise Hochhalter, Tonya, Guthrie Capossela, Traci, Tavita Masau, Tiffany Hochalter, Elizabeth, Christo Christy and Chris Lang; his sister Betty Seidschlaw; his close friend Carla Lang; and his son-in-law Steve Christy.
He is survived by: his former wife Eunice Seura; his sons, Jeffrey Hochhalter, Gregory Hochhalter (Patty) and Mark Hochhalter; his grandsons, Justin, Preston Walther, Sonny Schiley, Bryan Hofer, Vincent Christy, John and Tom; and his sister Wilma Guthmiller.
