He is survived by: his wife Patricia Steckman (Patti) of Mobridge, SD; his sons, Patrick (Kristin) of Mobridge, SD. and Mathew (Darya) of Mobridge, SD.; his sisters, Wanda Martin of Ellsworth, MN and Karen Jeffers (Roger) of Sioux Falls, SD.; his grandchildren, Devin, Maysie and Evelyn; his parents-in-law, Donna Steckman of Mobridge, SD, Carrie Overseth (Harley) of Mobridge, SD, Wanda Fuhrer (Mark) of Mobridge, SD and Jeff Steckman (Gail) of Grand Forks, ND.; his sister Ruby Helmburger (Robert); and his father-in-law David Steckman.
