It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Joyce O'Connell of Mobridge, South Dakota, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schulz and Christina Schulz; her siblings, Mavis Mcphee and Jerry Schulz; her son LeLand O'Connell; and her granddaughter Allison O'Connell.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas O'Connell; her son Thomas O'Connell (Laura); her daughter-in-law Lucinda O'Connell; her grandchildren, Killian, Kienan and Delaney; and her siblings, Marlene Merkel, Vern Schulz (Ruth), Donna Ivers (Roger) and Glenda Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
