She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorina Schock (Mogck) and Edward Schock; her son Ricky Brockel; her brother Edward Schock; and her sister-in-law Sharon Schock.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Brockel; her daughter Peggy Holzer (Joe Holzer) of Bismarck, ND.; her grandchildren, Jackie Mercer (Travis Mercer) of Blunt, SD, Jeffrey Holzer (Prairie Holzer) of Mandan, ND and Jesse Brockel of Aurora; her great grandchildren, Carson Mercer, Molly Mercer, Cooper Mercer and Wendy Holzer; and her brother Darwin Schock (Berny) of Hermosa, SD. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
