He is survived by: his wife Mary; and his children, Mark Puetz (Katie Murphy) of Mitchell, SD, Melanie Mullenmeister (Scott) of Mitchell, SD, Emily Reid (Sam) and Amy Novak (Ken). He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prayer Service Holy Family Catholic Church (222 N Kimball St, Mitchell, SD 57301). A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (222 N Kimball St, Mitchell, SD 57301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Avera Brady, the PES Catholic Community, or other charities in Wayne's honor.
