Wayne H. Peters Obituary
67, of Mitchell, SD, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Avera Queen of Peace in Mitchell. Graveside services will be 5:30 PM Tuesday, August 20, at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel. Wayne Henry Peters was born on August 18, 1951 to Fredrick and Velma (Page) Peters in Mitchell, SD. He grew up and attended school in Mitchell, graduating from Mitchell High School.
He worked at Dakota Pump until 1991 and then worked at Waylor Enterprise until his death. Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his son, Shawn Peters, Mitchell; daughter, Tonya (Kleve) Klingaman, Mitchell; five grandchildren; his mother, Velma Page; and siblings, Norma, Judy, Darla, and Norman. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Peters.
