It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Warren Zens of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Warren Zens to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Zens and Elsie Zens (Ehlke); his child Missy Zens; his parents-in-law, Earl and Pearl Kickland; and his brothers-in-law, Greg Koepsell, Bruce Meyer and William Kickland.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kickland; his daughters, Jenny Mackey (Matt) of Fulton, Beth Shaffer (Jeff) of Mitchell and Jamie Zens of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Jacob Mackey (Haley Lippert) of Mitchell, Riley Mackey of Alexandria, Michael Shaffer (Whitney) of O'Neil, NE, Alexis Quintero (Ed) of Norfolk, NE, Hunter of O'Neil, NE and Ricky Shaffer of O'Neil, NE; and his brothers, Harley Zens (Ronda) of Canova and Lu Koepsell of Mission Hill, SD. He is also survived by six great-granddaughters, and two great-grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you raise a toast in memory of Warren.
