He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Rice and Clara Rice (Sohrt); his former wife Sandra Rice (Solum); and his siblings, Donald Rice (LaClede), David, Richard Rice (Darlene), Phillip, Norman, John, Mildred Hull (Vernon) and Marie Preston (Forrest).
He is survived by: his wife June Burrows (Guinn); his sister Barbara Appel (Roger); his children, Stephanie Schroeder (Clinton), Renee Cundy and Monte Rice; his stepchildren, Tina Folkers (Tyler), Teresa Tollefson (Richard) and Roger Burrows; and also, Cleon and Ramona. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
