With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Hill Zens of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on October 21, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mae Kroupa (McKee); her former husband Berdean; her father Anton Kroupa; her parents-in-law, Barney and Hilda Hill; her daughter Hilda Mae Hill; her granddaughter Esther Jean Pietz; her siblings, Florence Hawn, Marvin Kroupa, Ralph Kroupa, Frank Kroupa and Roy Henderson; and her siblings-in-law, Dixie Kroupa, Delores Kroupa, Alene Hill, Marlene Wilson, Earlyne Hill, Vina Hill, Clarence Shelton, Roger Hill, Norris Hill, Glen Hill, Harold Wilson, Douglas Hawn and Richard Kroupa.
She is survived by: her friend Beverly Johnson; her sister Irene; her husband Tony Zens; her children, Linda Bass (Barry) of Lake Placid, FL, Bernice Larson (Ken) of Plankinton, SD, Vern Hill (Nancy) of Plankinton, SD, Bob Hill of Rapid City, SD and Rick Hill of Rapid City, SD; and her stepdaughter Sue Olson (Terry) of Madison, SD. She is also survived by her children, Plankinton grandchildren.
