She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Schmitz and Mable Schmitz (Thimsen); her husband Edward Nielsen, Jr.; and her brother Donald. She is survived by: her sons, Allen Nielsen (White River) and Harlan Nielsen (Julie); her grandchild Drew (Sioux Falls); her daughter Sharlene Stein (Sioux Falls); and her grandchildren, Sarah of Omaha, NE, Austin Stein (Volga) and Jenna Stein (Sioux Falls).
