He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Johnson and Audrey Johnson (Wermers); his brother Brett Johnson; his parents-in-law, Alvin and Helen Ward; and his nephew Aaron Hanson.
He is survived by: his wife Darla Johnson (Ward) of Mitchell, SD; his children, Nicole Larson (Jon) of Aurora, CO, Eric Johnson (Amy) and Nate Johnson; his grandchildren, Joseph, Grace, Elizabeth Larson, Ally, Rhyan, Maci and Andrew Johnson; his siblings, Kelly Edwards (Jon) of Pataskala, OH, Clay Johnson (Tina) of Weeki Wachee, FL, Scott Johnson (Karen), Pat Johnson and Darin Johnson (Andrea); and his sister-in-law Darcy Johnson of Dublin, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
