With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Pueppke (Mitchell, South Dakota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley left this world on February 23, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her former husband Morris Huber; her husband Curt Pueppke; her parents, Walter and Esther; her sister Lilas Green; her granddaughter Brooke Herrboldt; and her niece Cheryl Pueppke.
She is survived by: her children, Dave (Janette) of Mitchell, Carol Herrboldt (Bill) of Sterling, CO and Cathy Broesamle (Dave) of Ramsey, MN; and her stepsons, Alan of Bennet, CO, Randy (Carol) of Aberdeen and Scott (Donna) of Reeding, MN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Will Funeral Chapel (210 E Green Dr, Mitchell, SD 57301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery (600 W 23rd Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301).
In lieu of flowers, the family will establish a memorial at a later date.
