He is survived by: his wife Dawn Hill; his son Ronald Hill Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Noah Hill and Bryar Hill; his son Shaun Hill Sr. (Justina); his grandchildren, Cheyenne Hill, Ava Hill, Shaun Hill Jr., Freya Hill, Thorunn Hill, Autumn Hill and Gunnar Hill; his daughter Crystal Wendelboe (Peter); his grandchildren, Corbin Wendelboe, Emma Wendelboe, Peter Wendelboe, Colten Wendelboe and Rowan Wendelboe; his son Timothy Hill (Alyssa); his grandchildren, Tyra Hill and Amberle Hill; his siblings, James Jr. Hill (Betty), Gordon Hill (Eve) and Roberta Monroe (Bruce); and his brother-in-law Mark Logue. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He became a member of the Sound Foundation where he played drums, conga drums, and did vocals.
