He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Muilenburg and Gertrude M. Muilenburg (Bultje); his brothers, Kenneth, Robert and John (Rosie); and his brothers-in-law, Ben Spaans, Richard Hoffman and Conrad Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Ruby, Sherri, Penny, Roger Jr., Bernadette and Bridgadette; and his siblings, Betty Spaans, Marlene Hettinger (Mike), Sharon Titus (Jim), Doris Royston, Norman (Dorthey), Donnie (Phyllis), Dewayne and Darwin. He is also survived by several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
