He is survived by: his children, Robert (Vicki Vining), Barry Peterson (Debra) and Jill Schaefer (Jeff) of Parker, SD; his grandchildren, Brian Cohl, Daniel Cohl, Brett, Allie Peterson, Katelyn Bird (Ethan), Dustin Vining, Hillary Vining and Hanna Peterson; his stepsons, Curt and Matt Ditmanson; his brother John Peterson (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Char Peters (Ed) and Larry Behan; and his close friend Eldeen Stekel.
