He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rothfuss and Mable Rothfuss (Alderson); his siblings, Don, Richard and Wilma; and his brother-in-law Dale Rumbaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl of Mitchell; his children, Steve Rothfuss (Rosanne) of Table Rock, NE, Stan Rothfuss (Pam) of Lake Stevens, WA, Jon Rothfuss (Brandy) of Grand Forks, ND, Tony Rothfuss (Audrey) of Mitchell, SD, Susan Swihart Lewisville (Randy) and Sandy Saine (Marty) of Vero Beach, Florida; and his brothers, Paul Rothfuss (Marilyn) of Topeka, KS and Darrell Rothfuss (Rose) of Junction City, KS.. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be directed to Faith Missionary Church Building Fund or Faith Bible School Multi-Purpose Building, 1009 E. 6th Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301.
