He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Lilah Gillis (Mike), Corey Lapka, Mitchell and Heidi Pringle (Brian); and his sister Eileen Merkel of Newport News, VA.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
