He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Patzlaff and Dora Patzlaff (Rodenberg); his wife Barbara Maendl; and his siblings, Therman, Claude, Kenneth, Jessie, Vernon, Eugene, Edna Patzlaff and Florence Bertelson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ione Klinger (James) of Mitchell and Mary Geidel (John) of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Sarah Deakins (Mike) of Mitchell, Aaron Klinger (Abby) of Mitchell, Megan Geidel of Mitchell and Michael Geidel (Katie Juhnke) of Chamberlain, SD; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Olson of Aberdeen, SD, Jackson Deakins of Mitchell, James Klinger of Mitchell and Brynlee Lewis of Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
