Norman Thuringer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Thuringer (Mitchell, South Dakota), who passed away on December 30, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thuringer and Emma Thuringer (Weber); his wife Mary Thuringer; his siblings, Carola Thuringer, Luverne Thuringer (Lois) and Jean Horstman; and his brothers-in-law, Albin Roth and Stanley Vilhauer.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Thuringer (Brenda), Sandie Larsen (Jim), Bryan Thuringer (Janet) and Mitchell; his siblings, Betty Roth, Marjo Vilhauer and Ralph Thuringer; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Fahy (Iris), Bill Fahy (Margie), Rita Wren, Jim Horstman and Mitchell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mitchell.
