He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Heitzman and Margaret Heitzman; and his parents-in-law, Edwin Jung and Gertrude Jung. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Heitzman of Mitchell; his children, Terry Heitzman (Sylvia) of Blaine, MN, Cindy Lawrence (Jim) of Oconomowoc, WI and Monte Heitzman of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Aaron Heitzman, Jill Kramer, Brian Heitzman, Kristie Lawrence, Jeremy Lawrence, Samuel Heitzman and Sarah Heitzman; his great grandchildren, Everett, Ella, Easton, Cayden and Alaina; his sister Darleen Hicks of Deadwood, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Della Deer of Aitken, MN, Dennis Jung of Madison, SD and Janice Jung of Madison, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials that will go to the Abundant Grace International discipleship counseling ministry or support missions in Nepal.
