It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Megan Dewaard of Mitchell, South Dakota, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on November 4, 2021, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandfather LeRoy DeWaard; and her pet Teddy. She is survived by: her parents, Angel DeWaard and Doug DeWaard; her siblings, Joshua and Emily DeWaard; her grandparents, Karen DeWaard, Mary, Chuck Hansen, Iona Hansen and Art Steburg; and also Todd. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving friends.
In 2000, she was granted her wish to meet the Atlanta Braves by the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
