Maryl Hatwan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maryl Hatwan of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ackerman and Connie Ackerman (Traupel); her granddaughter Rayne; her brothers, Michael Ackerman (Betty Sue) and James Ackerman; and her brother-in-law Bruce Kniffen.

She is survived by: her former husband Patrick Hatwan; her children, Angela Carda, Heather Hatwan, Stephanie Farrokhi (Kamran), Lindsey Hatwan, David Hatwan (Amber), Megan Savage (Paul) and Jonathan Hatwan (Amanda); her grandchildren, Mason Hatwan (Surabhi Swaminath), Madyson Carda, Xoli Hatwan, Brandon Lee (Cameron), Nicole Conrad, Kobee Farrokhi, Drake Farrokhi, Oaklee Farrokhi, Tiffany Hatwan, Brittney Hatwan, Kristopher Hatwan, Henrik Savage, Berlyn Savage and Hudson Hatwan; her great grandchildren, Levi Farrokhi and Beckett Schopp; her sisters, Barbara Vasquez (Thomas) and Ladonna Kniffen; and her sister-in-law Judy Ackerman.
