She was predeceased by: her parents, Almar Bratsberg and Allye Bratsberg (Hazen); her husband Kenneth Steichen; her sister Phyllis (Tom R. Brisbine); and her son-in-law Michael Olinger.
She is survived by: her children, Jim (Jan) of Sunnyvale, CA, Dennis (Shelly) of Raleigh, NC, Kathy Cauley (Neil) of Excelsior, MN, Polly Huber (Rod) of Alexandria, SD and Pam Olinger of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Cancer Society.
