As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. "Shorty" Hubers and Mildred Nee Rietveld Hubers; her husband Sylvan Knutson; her former husband LeRoy DeWaard; and her son Mark.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty, Lois and Carol; and her children, Pamela Harris (Todd) of Heber-Overgaard, Paul (Lori) of Atlanta and Douglas (Angel) of Mitchell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Will Funeral Chapel (210 E Green Dr, Mitchell, SD 57301).
