With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. Thuringer (Mitchell, South Dakota), born in Parkston, South Dakota, who passed away on August 16, 2018 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Tom Fahy; and her siblings-in-law, Tim Wren, Lavern Thuringer, Albin Roth, Stanley Vilhauer, Carola Thuringer and Jean Horstman.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Thuringer of Mitchell; her children, Michael Thuringer (Brenda), Sioux Falls, Bryan Thuringer (Janet), Mitchell Larsen and Sandie Larsen (Jim); her siblings, Bob Thuringer (Iris), Bill Thuringer (Margie) and Rita Wren; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Thuringer, Betty Roth, Marjo Vilhauer, Parkston Fahy and Julie Fahy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mitchell.
