He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Walz and Clara Walz (Hamberger); and his nephew Dale Mutziger. He is survived by: his sister Marlene Mutziger (Paul); his nieces and nephews, Dawn Letellier (Chris), Daniel Mutziger, Dana Mutziger, Duane Mutziger (Jaymie) and Dustin Mutziger; and his aunt Quila Walz.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Will Funeral Chapel (210 E Green Dr, Mitchell, SD 57301). A prayer was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
