It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Joseph Northrup of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Northrup and Dakota Northrup (Alexander); his wife Joan Northrup; his son Joseph Northrup; and his brother Duane.
He is survived by: his children, Krystal Northrup of Mitchell, SD, Bradley Northrup (Jennifer) of Junction City, KS and Jewel Kopfmann (Bobby) of Virgil, SD; his grandchildren, Andrew Northrup (Heidi), Kathy Asher (Joshua), Molly Rinehart (Jacob), Kole Kopfmann (Jamie Hogan) and Shyanne Kopfmann (Hayden); his great grandchildren, Loukas Asher, Jonathon Asher and Lettie Rinehart; his sister Norma Moe (Robert) of Mitchell, SD; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Northrup of Mitchell, SD and Ella Mae Wood of Denver, SD.
