With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Fred Widmann (Mitchell, South Dakota), who passed away on October 13, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Widmann and Nellie Widmann; his wife Dolly Plageman; his grandson Dylan; and his siblings, Walter, Ronald, DeWayne, Irene, Lois and Mitzie.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Widmann (Mary), Lynn Namanny (Jim), Joni Kyriaco (Jim) and Matt Widmann (Jill); his grandchildren, Traci (Kory), Trisha (Jason), Thad (Heather), Scot (Kendra), Jill (Steve), James Jr. (Angie), Jaysa and Alexa (Andy); his great grandchildren, London, Cayman, Ryder, Jet, Izla, Ty, Tori, Caden, Cassidy, Marillya, Kenley, Nolan, Ember, Willow, Stella, Zellyn and His (Doris Jamison); his grandchildren, Kari (Justin) and Chase (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Diesel, Hansel, Navy, Clara and Felix; his sisters, Millie McCreedy and Mary Ann McGuire; and also, Brad Jamison (Donna) and Paige Ratke (Dave). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church Music Department or the YMCA.
