It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlin Telkamp of Mitchell, South Dakota, born in Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Telkamp and Harriet Telkamp (Staples); his son Jeffrey Telkamp; and his siblings, Verola Synder, Berdeena Chase, Glennice Shay and Merlin Telkamp.
He is survived by: his wife Geri Telkamp; and his daughters, Lori Kellar and Lisa Dillon. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
All memorials will be directed to a Homeless Veterans program.
