We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2021, at the age of 91, Marcia Hieb of Mitchell, South Dakota, born in Claremont, South Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marcia Hieb to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer T. Swanson and Edith C. Swanson (Miller); her siblings, Mavis Johansen and Curtis Swanson; and her parents-in-law, Albert and Anna Hieb.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Gustafson (Joel) of Lincoln, NE, Jack Hieb (Jennifer) of Aberdeen, SD and Alan Hieb (Jill) of Anthem, AZ; her husband Harlan Hieb; her grandchildren, Austin Hieb (Nicole), Mason Gustafson, Adam Gustafson, Griffin Hieb, Audrey Gustafson, Trevor Hieb, Evan Hieb and Julie Hieb; her great grandchild Opie Jack Hieb; her sister Sharon Thompson (Hank) of Rapid City, SD; and her sister-in-law Shari Swanson (Curtis). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Marcia's name and the family requests donations be made through the church.
