She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cecil Alt and Vera Alt (Lorang); her husband Edward; her sons, Jeremiah Higgins (JoLynn) and Michael Higgins; her grandchildren, Ariana and Xavier Higgins; and her brothers, Terry Larson (Annette), Stan Larson and Marlin Alt (Susan). She was also cherished by many extended family and friends.

The family requests memorials be made to the Congregation UCC Church, the Mitchell Area Historical Society or the Prehistoric Indian Village.
