He is survived by: his wife Wilma Menning of Mitchell, SD; his sons, Greg Menning (Kandace) of Waco, TX and Kurt Menning (Rosemary) of Mitchell, SD; his grandchildren, Andy Menning (Samantha) of Mitchell, SD and Valerie Parrott (Andrew) of Sioux Falls, SD; his great grandchildren, Bryton, Alec, Hallie Menning, Leon and Vivian Parrott; and his sisters, Cleone Groen of Atlanta, GA, Mary Kuyper (Duane) of Sioux Falls, SD, Loretta Winthers (D'Orsay) of Mitchell, SD and Cheryl Manchester (Tom) of Harvard, IL.
