He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Nunez and Nellie Nunez (Palmer); his brother Peter; and his mother-in-law Donna Van Den Oever. He is survived by: his spouse Jody Van Den Oever; his sons, Matt (Jade) of Mitchell and Kyle (Samatha) of Mitchell, SD; his sisters, Jeannene Larson (Mike) of Buffalo, WY and Deb Nunez of Council Bluffs; his aunt Donna Palmer; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Van Den (Lori), Jason Van Den (Linda), Jamie Van Den (Jennifer) and Jill Van Den Oever of Mitchell; his father-in-law Kenny Van Den Oever; and his grandchildren, Bentley, Noah and Kolby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prayer Service Bittner Funeral Chapel (805 W Havens Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (521 W 23rd Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301).
